At the start of October, after weeks of training, the year 7 football team competed in the first round of the seasons football fixtures with games against St Marys, West Leigh, Bedford, and Fred Longworth. Pupils worked incredibly hard as a team and played some excellent football. Special mentions go to Ben in goal who didn’t concede a goal all night and Ashton who scored the winner against Bedford. The team finished the evening with 3 draws and one win which currently sees them sitting forth in the league!
