Our Y10 media studies class had a fantastic morning at Cineworld Leigh watching the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie as part of their coursework preparation. The were examining the media text to make links between audience, purpose, genre, narrative and cinematic effects.
We even had time to speak to the Cinema Manager about his job as part of our “Who Works Here” school wide initiative to help drive ambition within our children. Manage Dan chatted to the pupils about his roles and responsibilities, the perks of his job and also the down side of cleaning a dirty cinema! Thanks to all the staff at Cineworld Leigh who made this a valuable and enriching morning for our young people.
